Formal, graduation, birthday or wedding on the calendar? Get ready at Seoul Glow Studio in Bowen Hills. We do Korean-style makeup and event hair in one visit, and because our nail and lash studio is in the same room, you can have the whole look done without driving between salons.
Makeup is by Rhea and Siah. Hair is by Kai, Julie and Siah. Tell us about the outfit, the venue and how you want to feel, and we'll plan the look around that. We speak English, Korean and Mandarin.
The Korean Approach to Event Makeup
Korean makeup starts with the skin. We prep and hydrate first, then build a base that looks like skin rather than foundation, define the eyes softly and finish with a lip colour that suits you. The result still looks like you, on your best day. If you'd rather go bolder for the night, say so and we'll turn it up.
Event hair follows the same thinking as our Korean cuts and perms: soft movement, a shape that flatters your face and a finish made to last through the photos and the dance floor.

Full Glam: Four Services, One Booking
Hair, makeup, lashes and nails usually mean three or four appointments in different places. We have hair designers, a nail and lash specialist and makeup under one roof, so one booking covers the lot:
- Event makeup
- Event hair styling
- A lash lift or classic lash set from our lash menu
- Gel nails in one colour from our nail menu
Lashes and nails can be done on the day or earlier in the week. We'll work out the order with you when you book.
Group Bookings
Getting ready together for a formal, graduation, birthday or wedding? Book three or more people for hair and makeup and it's $230 each. We schedule hair and makeup side by side to keep the waiting short. Call or message us with your date, how many of you there are and what time you need to walk out the door, and we'll build the schedule around it.
How It Works
- Book online, or call us on 07 2139 0806 for groups and full glam.
- Send or bring a few photos of looks you like, plus a photo of your outfit if you have one.
- Arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturised face.
- We check the look with you in the mirror before you leave, and adjust anything you want changed.
Frequently Asked Questions
For Saturdays, and for formal and graduation season, book at least two weeks ahead. Weekdays often have times at shorter notice. Groups should book as early as they can so we can line up the whole team.
Come with clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturised face. Wear a top that buttons or zips so it does not have to go over your head afterwards. If you would like us to wash your hair first, tell us when you book so we allow the time.
Yes. Strip or cluster lashes are included with event makeup if you want them. If you would like lashes that last beyond the event, add a lash lift or eyelash extensions.
Yes. Our full glam package covers hair, makeup, lashes and nails in one booking. Lashes and nails can be done on the day or earlier in the week, and we will plan the order with you.
For now, all event hair and makeup is done in our Bowen Hills studio. Bridal parties are welcome to get ready here as a group. We plan to add bridal trials and on-location bookings, so call us if you would like to hear when they open.
